It is a state historic park, which draws many visitors each year to observe how life was in the "olden days." This set of old wooden doors is the entryway to the town's schoolhouse. This old town is filled with historic buildings. The streets remain much has they were back in the 1800's and early 1900's. It is wonderful to roam the streets of Bodie, getting an idea of what it was to live so many years ago.
