RUSTIC RELAXATION by Lynn Bauer - A rustic wooden wagon wheel bench sits conveniently next to a small fishing pond at the Double Eagle Resort in California's High Sierra Mountains. This was such a beautiful and peaceful scene with the deep tones of the water and pretty pops of fall color from the turning aspens along the shore. Definitely one of our favorite stops on our search for fall color this year!
The Double Eagle is located along the June Lake Loop off of Highway 395 between the towns of Mammoth Lakes and Lee Vining.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
