ROAD TO GLORY by Lynn Bauer - A twist in the General's Highway that runs through Sequoia National Park is the perfect spot as the sun rays from above shine through the large trees in the Giant Forest and perfectly highlight the colorful dogwoods below, which are in their full fall attire.
On one side of the road,a black bear was roaming through the forest, ducking behind the colorful trees.It was an amazing sight and one I will never forget!! I can only hope that one day I will be in that right place at the right time, again!!I have tried to see the forest colored up like this, again...but, so far,I have not been able to duplicate the experience,so, I'm very happy to have been able to capture this moment in time.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
