BESSIE AND COMPANY by Lynn Bauer - Sweet cows line up at a barbed wire fence looking for some attention. I'm sure they thought I was there to feed them, as I've never seen cows so attentive to a stranger! I loved the face of the brown and white cow, and for some reason, I named her "Bessie" in my mind! So...here we have "Bessie and Company!" This was a very large herd of cows in the Round Rock area of Austin, Texas.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
