Description
24 x 36 inch acrylic on canvas. After doing this piece, I almost want to do a sequel, because although I have a lot of things going on within it, I didn't want to crowd it with more of my ideas, I started out with Stonehenge, which some suggest could be an old Druid calendar, I the added the Mayan calendar, followed by the nights jousting which is prevalent in the Glockenspiel in the Marienplatz of Munich Germany, Next was Big Ben, one of the most notable clocks in the world, followed by the Prague Orloj which is a medieval astronomical clock. I had to include both Bill and Ted's telephone booth and the Back to the future Delorean time machine, but resisted the urge to add the hot tub time machine. How can you do a piece and not put in a melting clock? So I did that along with flying clocks for "time flies" as well as an hour glass, plus the final piece to the puzzle, Father Time on a long Board. Hopefully you like it.

Interesting Surrealist-type work Mike and I have done several of the images within this work myself (including the Astrological Clock from Prague) but I enjoyed your explanation of how you created it…gives it far more meaning. Do you get some of your ideas from dreams? Brilliant colors!
