This is a commissioned work, so the original is not for sale. The clients have an obese male Tabby Cat which has been over fed…not by them but by one (or several?) neighbors. The cat became attached to them when they were at a Ski Resort, so they adopted it. Their other comment was that it has a very ‘male’ (strongly male?) character and they wanted the ‘portrait’ in the same style as a previous’Botero Cat’ I had done …
