Artist's Description

A hillside of spectacular spring wildflowers set off the sprawling oak trees that cover the spot where Baylor Female University once stood in the town of Independence, Texas. All that is left now are the pillars that stood at the front entrance to the college. This has become a tourist attraction in this small Central Texas town, and the spring wildflowers give this piece of history a wonderful colorful pop of beauty.
