AMERICAN DREAM by Lynn Bauer - A host of vessels sit docked at Marina Del Rey in Los Angeles, California. For many, the "American Dream" has always meant the opportunity to own a home. But, for some, the dream moves on to own a boat of some type...a fishing boat, sport boat, sail boat, and for the elite few, possibly a luxury yacht. Many of each of these vessels can be found in the waters of the Pacific Ocean at Marina Del Rey. And, for one of these fortunate individuals, the colors of our flag...the red, the white, and the blue...show proudly on the side of their boat. A beautiful display of patriotic color on a beautiful day in Southern California!!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset. One of my favorite past times has been to spend the spring season hunting down amazing wildflower blooms...including two years of "Superbloom" seasons in 2017 and 2019.
