ASPEN GOLD by Lynn Bauer is a bright and shining stand of Aspens in full fall array off of Highway 395 below the town of Mammoth, California. This glorious stand of aspen were creating quite a stir as they shimmered in the afternoon sunlight. Many cars were pulled over onto the shoulder of the highway to get a closer look at this incredible beauty that lasts for such a brief moment in time, then is gone until the next year...if the conditions are right. Fortunately for me, the conditions were right, and I was able to come home with this beautiful image to help me remember this incredible experience.
