SUN-DRENCHED WILDFLOWERS IN BRENHAM by Lynn Bauer - Gorgeous wildflowers adorn the roadsides and fields of the Texas Hill Country in the spring. I drive up and down many country roads looking for scenes like this. Evening light is just settling over the farm land with the cow pond in the distance. But, for now, the show is right at the fence line as a group of bright red indian paintbrush are surrounded by the pretty green grasses of spring and are backed by a group of gorgeous Texas bluebonnets! What a lovely sight to behold! These scenes take my breath away every time I come up on them!!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset. One of my favorite past times has been to spend the spring season hunting down amazing wildflower blooms...including two years of "Superbloom" seasons in 2017 and 2019.
